Introducing the ultimate solution for minor leaks in swimming pools and spas – the Leak Sealer in a convenient 1-litre bottle. This tried and tested product is the go-to choice for professionals when it comes to sealing small holes and leaks in hot tubs, swimming pool pipework, and liners.
While we can’t promise to fix every leak, this leak sealer is truly remarkable in its effectiveness. In fact, many repair companies rely on this product as their first line of defense against leaks, so why not save yourself time and money by tackling the issue on your own?
Each bottle of this powerful formula is designed to treat up to 60,000 litres of water, providing you with ample coverage to address your pool or spa leakage concerns. With easy-to-follow directions for use, you can confidently take charge of maintaining your pool’s integrity.
When using the Leak Sealer, follow these simple steps:
1) Turn off the pool pump and remove any automatic pool cleaner from the pool to prepare for treatment.
2) Adjust the filter to the By-pass or re-circulate setting. If these options are not available, remove the filter grids or cartridges from the filter before starting the treatment.
3) Add the Leak Sealer to the pool at a rate of 1 litre per 60,000 litres of pool water. Depending on the location of the leak, you can choose one of two application methods:
A) For leaks in pool walls or floor, directly add the sealer into the pool water. If you can identify the leak spot, target the application there; otherwise, distribute the product evenly throughout the pool.
B) For leaks in pipework, add the appropriate dose of sealer into the skimmer. Since the sealer is heavier, it tends to collect at the deep end. To ensure thorough circulation and maximum effectiveness, use a pool vacuum hose as follows:
– Set up the vacuum head at the pool’s deepest point.
– Ensure the hose is air-free for optimal circulation through the pipework.
– If unsure of the leak location, opt for this method to cover all bases.
4) After a 30-minute wait, restart the pump and let it run for a minimum of 8 hours to allow the sealer to take effect.
5) Mark the water level and check for results after 24 hours to monitor the progress.
6) Larger pools may require a second application for complete sealing.
7) Once the leak sealer has done its job, return the filter setting to normal and resume regular filtration. You can safely resume swimming 24 hours after adding the product to the water.
Don’t forget, this powerful formula contains Alkaline Salts at a concentration of 370g/lts, ensuring a robust seal against leaks in your pool or spa. Trust the Leak Sealer to keep your aquatic oasis in top condition and enjoy peace of mind knowing that your minor leaks are a thing of the past.

3) Leak Sealer should be added to the pool at the rate of 1 litre per 60,000 litres of pool water. There are two methods of application depending on the location of the leak.

To ensure maximum effectiveness circulate the product as follows. Set up a pool vacuum hose as for normal cleaning. Place the vacuum head at the deepest point in the pool. Ensure the hose is free of air. This method ensures maximum circulation through the pipework if unsure of the location of the leak use method b.
