PH minus granules offer the perfect solution for pool and hot tub owners looking to maintain the optimal pH level for their water bodies. Keeping the pH within the range of 7.2 to 7.6 is crucial for ensuring bather comfort, enhancing the efficiency of pool chemicals, and safeguarding the integrity of pool equipment.
When testing the pH of your pool or hot tub water and finding it above 7.6, the application of pH minus becomes necessary to bring it back to the recommended levels. By following simple application instructions, you can easily adjust the pH to the desired range, ensuring a pleasant and safe swimming experience for all users.
To use the PH minus granules effectively, start by pre-dissolving the product in a clean plastic container using a maximum rate of 100g per 10 Litres of warm water. Thoroughly mix the solution to ensure complete dissolution before adding it to the pool or hot tub water. It is advisable to pour the solution into the water with the pump running to facilitate even distribution, ideally near the water inlets.
After allowing a minimum of 8 hours for the treatment to take effect, recheck the pH level to assess if it has reached the desired range. If necessary, repeat the treatment until the ideal pH balance is achieved, noting that multiple treatments may be required based on the initial pH level of the water.
For specific dosing rates based on the volume of water in your pool or hot tub, refer to the following guidelines:
Hot tub: For 1,000 litres (220 Gallons) of water, add 10g of PH minus granules.
Small pool: For 40,000 litres (8,800 Gallons) of water, add 450g of PH minus granules.
Medium pool: For 60,000 litres (13,200 Gallons) of water, add 650g of PH minus granules.
By maintaining the pH level within the recommended range using PH minus granules, you not only ensure the comfort and safety of swimmers but also prolong the lifespan of your pool equipment. Enjoy crystal-clear water and a balanced chemical environment by incorporating PH minus granules into your pool or hot tub maintenance routine.
