I have bought 10 of these over the years and have been totally impressed with their operation. No failures in 4 years. As I have retrofitted halogens with low powered LEDs I have replaced the original electronic transformers with these as they can run even the lowest powered LED. Most 50w electronic transformers have a minimum load of 10 or 20w but these have a minimum load of 0w meaning they are equally suitable for GU5.3 12v LEDs. I can vouch that they work perfectly with the diall 4.5w, 6.5w and Osram 5.5w LEDs, which I also bought from BandQ. These transformers are the best choice for me as I have a number of specialist coloured GU5.3 12v 50w halogen bulbs which I can still use when the fancy takes me. If I had gone for the 12v 12w LED driver then I would not be able to use the specialist halogen light during dinner parties as most LED drivers are not man enough to power them. When I bought them they were also cheaper than most of the specialist LED drivers making it a bit of a no brainer
