When it comes to providing hot water for various domestic and commercial applications, the Certikin Calorex Air To Water (Lphw) Heat Pump emerges as a sustainable and efficient solution. Traditionally, the generation of hot water relied heavily on burning fossil fuels, which not only consumed valuable resources but also contributed to the emission of harmful CO2 into the atmosphere. With an increasing awareness of environmental issues, the shift towards more eco-friendly alternatives has become imperative.
One of the standout features of this heat pump is its ability to harness the energy present in the external air, rather than relying on underground sources like the earth’s strata. By utilizing this ambient air energy, the Certikin Calorex Heat Pump eliminates the need for extensive heat collector pipework, making the installation process more streamlined and cost-effective. Moreover, the absorbed energy undergoes a significant upgrade before being efficiently transferred to the Low-Pressure Hot Water (LPHW) circuit through advanced heat pump technology.
Notably, these Air-to-Water High Capacity Heat Pumps have a proven track record in providing effective pool water heating solutions. Whether for residential pools or commercial aquatic facilities, the Certikin Calorex Heat Pump ensures optimal performance and energy savings. By leveraging the ambient air as a renewable energy source, this heat pump not only reduces operating costs but also minimizes the carbon footprint associated with conventional heating methods.
Regarding the heating system options, users have the flexibility to configure the air source equipment to suit their specific requirements. The heat pump can operate as a standalone LPHW heating solution in a Monovalent system setup. Alternatively, it can complement existing heating systems, such as boilers, in a Bivalent system configuration for enhanced efficiency and versatility. To accommodate varying hot water demands, the inclusion of a buffer tank is recommended to optimize system performance and maintain consistent water temperature.
Furthermore, the Certikin Calorex Air To Water Heat Pump offers the possibility of temperature enhancement for the LPHW circuit through independent heating methods if higher water temperatures are desired. This adaptability ensures that the heat pump can meet the diverse needs of different applications, providing customizable solutions for hot water generation in both residential and commercial settings.
In conclusion, the Certikin Calorex Air To Water (Lphw) Heat Pump stands out as a sustainable, energy-efficient, and versatile heating solution for a wide range of applications. By harnessing the power of ambient air energy and leveraging advanced heat pump technology, this product offers a reliable alternative to traditional fossil fuel heating systems. With its eco-friendly design, operational flexibility, and high performance, the Certikin Calorex Heat Pump is a compelling choice for those seeking a cost-effective and environmentally conscious hot water solution.

Manufacturers description:
Certikin Calorex Air To Water (Lphw) Heat Pump – Suitable For Use With Variheat And Delta Units
Producing Hot Water for the majority of domestic and commercial applications has historically been by way of burning fossil fuels. The result of producing hot water by fossil fuelled heaters (however efficient), is to produce CO
2. Most people are now aware of the detrimental effects of CO2 on our environment, and the need to seriously consider climate friendly alternatives.
Air-Water High Capacity Heat PumpsAir-to-water heat pumps have successfully been installed for many years, especially for providing efficient pool water heating. This equipment absorbs energy from the external air rather than from the earth’s strata; therefore eliminating the need for heat collector pipework. Again, the absorbed energy is considerably upgraded and transferred to the LPHW circuit using efficient heat pump technology.Heating System OptionsAir source equipment can either be installed for sole provision of LPHW heating (known as a Monovalent system), or in conjunction with more traditional heating methods such as boilers, known as a Bivalent system. A -buffer- tank is needed to assist with the demands of the hot water system. The LPHW can also be upgraded in temperature, if necessary, by independent heating (by others).
