I have to admit that I unfortunately dont have access to my larger pool just yet given the weather conditions but I have been using this to warm a smaller inflatable pool I have been using for my babies. I can tell you that it does an incredible job of warming the pool. I have noticed it go up to 11degrees higher which makes a huge difference The best part is that it uses renewable energy without any maintenance. We live in Texas so this poor device was stuck outside in heavy rain and just when I thought we might have broken it by leaving it out, it turns out it withstood the storm The setup is SUPER easy and does not require any maintenance. It can be used for whatever sized pool you have though I would assume that warming our main pool would take longer than the super short time it took to warm our inflatable but still largish pool. This is a must have if you have anyone with cold sensitivities and are looking for an effortless and maintenance free way to warm your pool by about 10 degrees
