I purchased this heater at the end of Feb. It installed easily and worked well for about 90 days before it started popping my main spa breaker. I have disconnected it to verify that its the problem and it is. My ohm meter is telling me it has nearly a complete short to the case. When you look inside the tube of the heater I received it didnt show the heater element as pictured, rather It looked more like the original heater that I took out so Im not sure what to think of that. I dont know if I got a bad one or if the salt system I am using for purification may have contributed to its demise. I sure was hoping it would last longer than it did. I will probably order one more just to verify but will wait until the weather gets a little cooler.
