    Good but slow

Really comfortable, controllable and pretty nippy. Took it out on calm sea and it performed better than expected. Very stable. Only slight niggle is that the collapsible paddle could be a bit more rigid, the sections did move slightly when powering through the water. I got use to it quickly though and it didnt seem to affect performance. It comes with a flimsy but effective pump and a fin to aid movement.Overall Im really happy with this kayak and would recommend it if you want an easy to setup and transport watercraft.EDIT pump broke after 2 uses, it was technically free though so no biggie but I wouldnt trust it on a long journey if its your only means of inflation.

Great kayak for the price. Better than most cheap inflatables, though it still doesnt break out of that category. With some time to get used to it, itll give you a cruising speed of 4 kilometres per hour, with a whole lot of thrashing you might get it up to 6 for a very brief spell. Its very nimble but it still tracks reasonably well. Ive been using it in the canals in Ireland, which is perfect for it. I wouldnt trust it in any moving water as even the slightest breeze impedes progress. The self has a tendency to collect plant matter, which really slows you down. As a result of This, Ive perfected a spin around dance to shake most of it off.Ive been using it for 6 hour trips, at which point the rubber starts to sag a bit underneath me. Ive not seen any of the issues others have complained about. The skeg is solidly attached and doesnt look like itd fall put without unclipping it. The paddle is reasonably solid, though it does flex a bit if you use it to push off solid objects. Overall, a great inflatable for short to medium trips but expect to be outpaced by grandmothers walking their dogs.

I wanted a kayak that I could easily transport in my car and use whilst we are away on holiday in our touring caravan . I saw this in use and was very impressed so I went ahead and bought one although I was confused by the virtual daily change in price on Amazon. It is very easy to assemble and inflate and not too heavy to carry to the water. I have used it both on a river and the sea taking it through surf and found it very stable, buoyant and easy to paddle. I am 6 tall and weigh 98 kilos and fit in the kayak without any issues. I dont inflate the lower part of the seat, only the back, and I find I am just at the correct height to paddle. The only slightly negative point is that after washing it down after use, it is a bit difficult to drain away all the water from inside but other than this minor point it is excellent value and a lot of fun. I have managed to deflate it without problem and fold it back into the carry bag. I certainly wouldnt use it in very rough seas above a force 34 or very windy weather but in calmer conditions its great in the sea and rivers and no doubt good in lakes. The paddle does seem a bit flimsy but works okay and can paddle the kayak at quite fast speed. Obviously, as it is an inflatable craft, you do need to be careful of damaging it against rocks. 100 recommend, a lot of enjoyment for a value price. Thanks Intex.

hi, its a cheapish inflatable canoe that floats and works ok. with the blow up seat in it, i found it somewhat unstable. i removed the seat and was amazed at how much better it was. you really dont need the seat, leave it at home and save the bother. the floor of the canoe is spongy enough to give you a comfortable base to sit on and the lower centre of gravity really makes a very noticeable difference. what i would strongly advise the manufacturers to do is delete the seat and craft a suitable extension to the part of the canoe body that your back rests on, so that your back can rest up against that. it will mean a simpler, easier to produce and cheaper canoe.i found the legroom ok im six foot, i could stretch out my legs fully which also helped lower the centre of gravity slightly more but my size 10 feet could not stretch out fully so i had to curl my toes, which was a bit annoying. to be fair i did have something underneath the netting which impacted on the ability of the upper part of the canoe to give and allow me more toe room. next outing i will avoid using that netting area for storage and that should help but that does rather mean the netting is pointless if you have to leave that area free for toeroom.it also works ok without the skeg, to avoid catching it on anything a river hazard, maybe thats for more open waters i use my canoe mostly for small quiet rivers. i tried it without it first, but with the seat, its possible that with the seat and the skeg it would be more stable but with the seat out it was way more stable and when i later put the skeg on for the return journey, the benefit was not nearly so noticeable as removing the seat, so im not sure of the extra stability it adds but logically it must help.also of note was the difficulty in getting all the air out to pack it away. i still have not got the hang of that and it does not go back in the carrier bag maybe theres a knack to itUPDATE i would also like to add that the lettering on the surface of the craft rather spoilt the style and could have been relegated to a piece of paper in the package and made the look cleaner.

Had this thing out on Ullswater yesterday, and its just the job.Its lightweight, packs down really small, and it handles really rather well.Im 6 foot, but had no trouble fitting in it.Its very stable, and theres plenty of storage up front.Paddles are more than adequate, and it even comes with one of these things in the photo.Ive no idea what it is, but you can strap a tin of beer to it and tow it behind you.Overall, for 75 allin, you cant go wrong. If youre umming and arring, just get one, you wont be disappointed.Thats what I did, and Im most pleased.
