Ensure crystal clear and bacteria-free water in your hot tub or swimming pool with these highly effective stabilised chlorine tablets. Designed for slow release over 2-4 days, these tablets are a must-have for maintaining the optimal chlorine levels to keep your water safe and healthy.
Whether you use floating dispensers, chemical feeders, or skimmer baskets, these tablets are versatile and easy to use. Simply add them to the appropriate system and let them work their magic in keeping your water clean and clear.
Key Features:
For hot tubs, maintaining a free chlorine range of 3-5mg/l is crucial, while swimming pools require a level of 1-3mg/l. These stabilised chlorine tablets are specially formulated to ensure your water is consistently treated with the right amount of active chlorine to eliminate harmful bacteria and organisms. With a high level of available chlorine and a stabiliser, these tablets provide long-lasting protection for your water.
Application Instructions:
1. Start by maintaining the pH level of your water within the ideal range of 7.2-7.6. Use pH plus or pH minus products if needed to adjust the pH for optimal results.
2. Keep your free chlorine levels in check, aiming for 3-5mg/l for hot tubs and 1-3mg/l for swimming pools. When initially filling a hot tub, ensure to shock dose with the recommended chlorine levels for proper sanitation.
3. If using a floating dispenser, adjust the tablet quantity to achieve the desired chlorine range. Remember to remove the dispenser from the water during use.
4. For chlorine feeders, follow the feeder instructions to regulate the chlorine flow effectively.
5. In skimmer baskets, monitor the tablet levels to maintain the required chlorine concentration.
6. It’s advised to shock dose your pool periodically to eliminate any excess contamination, particularly after heavy use.
Remember to run the pump frequently if using tablets in skimmer baskets to prevent chlorine build-up. Safety precaution: Ensure children do not have access to the skimmer to avoid any potential hazards.
Dose Rates:
For a medium hot tub containing 1,000 liters of water, use approximately 1 tablet to increase chlorine by 1mg/l, or 3 tablets to increase it by 3mg/l. For larger hot tubs with 1,500 liters of water, adjust the tablet quantity accordingly.
When treating swimming pools, add 1 tablet per 4,500 liters of water and monitor the chlorine levels regularly for optimal water quality.
With these stabilised chlorine tablets, maintaining your hot tub or swimming pool has never been easier. Keep your water safe, clean, and inviting for all to enjoy with this essential pool maintenance solution.
Manufacturers description:
These chlorine tablets are one of the most popular products for ensuring hot tub and swimming pool water is safe and bacteria free. They are stabilised to minimise chlorine loss to sunlight. They slowly release chlorine over 2–4 days depending on the water flowing over them.
They can be used in floating dispensers, chemical feeds and skimmer baskets.
Apply regularly to achieve the recommended free chlorine level of 3-5 mg/l (ppm) for hot tubs or 1-3 mg/l (ppm) for swimming pools. These tablets are slow release and long lasting and have the minimum effect on the pH of the water for a stabilised chlorine tablet.
Key Features
Its best to operate a free Chlorine Range of 3 – 5mg/l for hot tubs and 1-3mg/l for swimming pools. These stabilised chlorine tablets are ideal for regular dosing of your hot tub or swimming pool, to produce free active chlorine which kills bacteria and other potentially harmful organisms. They contain a high level of available chlorine and chlorine stabiliser.
Application Instructions
1. Maintain pH level within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6. If outside this range please use our PH plus or PH minus products to adjust for the best results.
2. Maintain free chlorine residuals for hot tubs between 3-5mg/l and for swimming pools between 1 – 3mg/l (ppm). Freshly filled hot tubs require an initial shock or start up dose of chlorine: 50mg/l (ppm) for 1 hour or 20mg/l (ppm) for 2 hours.
3. For floating dispenser: Fill the floating dispenser with tablets and adjust the aperture mechanism at the bottom of the dispenser to obtain the 3-5mg/l (ppm) desired range. Alternatively keep the dispenser aperture constant and vary the tablets inside to achieve 3-5mg/l (ppm). The dispenser should be removed from the hot tub whilst bathing.
4. For chlorine feeders: Fill the dispenser and follow feeder instruction manuals on flow regulation to maintain required chlorine levels.
5. For skimmer baskets: Fill the basket with sufficient tablets and monitor levels to maintain required chlorine levels.
6. It is recommended that you periodically (e.g. fortnightly or after heavy use) shock dose your pool to eliminate any excess contamination.
Note: If using in skimmer baskets we would suggest you run the pump often to prevent a build up of chlorine. Please ensure children to not have access to the skimmer as this could be dangerous.
Dose Rates (subject to water flow rate and temperature)
Medium hot tub 1,000 litre (220 Gallons) of water requires approx 1 tablet to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or 3 tablets to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)
Large hot tub 1,500 litre (330 Gallons) of water requires approx 2 tablets to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or 6 tablets to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)
Swimming pools add 1 tablet per 4,500 litres (1000 Gallons) of water and monitor levels.

Chlorine tablets are essential for keeping pool water clear and hygienic. These chlorine tablets 10 in this pack are placed in the plastic float and dissolve and release chlorine over about 710 days. Therefore the 10 tablets will last 70100 days or so for a garden pool about 810 feet diameter. The float is easy to use, and although not the most robust piece of plastic, all it needs to do is float round the pool and so unlikely to encounter much stress to damage it. There are a few test strips included but these come in a foil container and once this is opened will deteriorate on exposure to air unless protected in a sealed container not supplied. These are insufficient in number for the season and so a separate supply will need to be ordered. Reasonable at the price.Sept. 2017 update Although I used these as instructed and the chlorinepH was within the optimum my paddling pool still went green after 3 weeks or so. I was surprised and so revisited the small print. It actually says reduces the amount of algaecide and flocculent needed. Well I had to order some algaecide and fast dissolving chlorine tablets to shock the pool. This resolved it and the pool cleared. So algaecide is needed with these chlorine tablets alone are insufficient. The water was slightly cloudy but the pool vacuum and pump resolved this. The float is however good, lasted all summer, and required for the slow release chlorine tablets.

Bought these for the last couple of seasons with no problems. This season, they appear to have changed. Used to be blue and white, now just pure white. Now get lumps of chlorine stuck in the filter after 12 days, only way to solve is to do a backwash to clear the E02 error. This has obviously come about I assume as to changing the chemicals inside. Clearly doesnt work. Now opted for a liquid version which works fine. Left with nearly a full tub of Chlorine blocks that are useless
