Prior to converting your spa to AquaSPArkle O2 Gentle, it is recommended to drain the spa and refill it with fresh water. To kickstart the process, shock dose the spa with chlorine to prepare it for the O2 Gentle system.

Application Instructions:

1. For brand new spas or those left drained for a period, administer an initial chlorine shock dose of 50mg/l (ppm) of free chlorine, circulated for at least 1 hour.
2. Ensure pH levels are maintained within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6.
3. Initial Dose: Add 25g of O2 Gentle Granules per 1,000 litres of spa water directly into the spa with the pump(s) running. Additionally, introduce 40ml of AquaSPArkle O2 Gentle Liquid per 1,000 litres of spa water.
4. Ongoing Dose: Before spa use, add 15g of O2 Gentle Granules per 1,000 litres of spa water directly into the spa with the pump(s) running. Weekly, include 10ml of AquaSPArkle O2 Gentle Liquid per 1,000 litres of spa water.
5. Once the O2 Gentle Granules have dissolved completely, use active oxygen 3-way test strips to verify the active oxygen (MPS) level, which should fall between 5 – 10mg/l (ppm).
6. For enhanced efficacy, a weekly dose of AquaSPArkle Spa Fusion is recommended to eliminate excess bather contaminants.
