Ensure the safety and cleanliness of your hot tub or swimming pool with these highly effective chlorine tablets. Designed to keep your water free from harmful bacteria, these stabilised tablets are a popular choice among pool and spa owners.
With a slow-release formula that lasts between 2 to 4 days, these tablets provide a consistent level of chlorine, ensuring optimal water quality. They are specially formulated to minimize chlorine loss due to sunlight exposure, making them ideal for outdoor pools and spas.
These versatile tablets can be used in floating dispensers, chemical feeds, and skimmer baskets, offering convenience and flexibility in application. Whether you have a hot tub or a swimming pool, these tablets are suitable for maintaining the recommended free chlorine levels.
For hot tubs, it is recommended to maintain a free chlorine range of 3 to 5 mg/l, while swimming pools should aim for 1 to 3 mg/l. These stabilised chlorine tablets help achieve and maintain these levels, ensuring that your water remains safe and hygienic for all users.
Key Features:
These tablets are specifically designed for regular dosing of hot tubs and swimming pools, providing free active chlorine that effectively eliminates bacteria and harmful organisms. They contain a high level of available chlorine and a stabiliser to maintain water quality.
Application Instructions:
1. Maintain the pH level within the range of 7.2 to 7.6 for optimal results. Use pH plus or pH minus products if necessary to adjust the pH level.
2. Keep free chlorine residuals at the recommended levels for hot tubs and swimming pools. Newly filled hot tubs may require an initial shock dose of chlorine to establish the proper chlorine level.
3. When using a floating dispenser, adjust the tablet quantity to achieve the desired chlorine range. For chlorine feeders and skimmer baskets, follow the specific instructions to maintain chlorine levels effectively.
4. Periodically shock dose your pool to eliminate any excess contamination, especially after heavy use or every few weeks.
5. Dose Rates:
– For a medium hot tub with 1,000 liters of water, use approximately 1 tablet to increase chlorine levels by 1 mg/l or 3 tablets to increase by 3 mg/l.
– For a large hot tub with 1,500 liters of water, use 2 tablets to increase chlorine levels by 1 mg/l or 6 tablets for a 3 mg/l increase.
– For swimming pools, add 1 tablet per 4,500 liters of water and monitor levels regularly to maintain adequate chlorine levels.
These chlorine tablets are a reliable and efficient solution for keeping your hot tub or swimming pool water clean and safe. With their long-lasting formula and easy application, you can enjoy crystal-clear water without worrying about bacteria or contaminants. Trust these stabilised chlorine tablets to maintain the perfect balance of chlorine in your water, providing a refreshing and hygienic experience every time you take a dip.
Manufacturers description:
These chlorine tablets are one of the most popular products for ensuring hot tub and swimming pool water is safe and bacteria free. They are stabilised to minimise chlorine loss to sunlight. They slowly release chlorine over 2–4 days depending on the water flowing over them.
They can be used in floating dispensers, chemical feeds and skimmer baskets.
Apply regularly to achieve the recommended free chlorine level of 3-5 mg/l (ppm) for hot tubs or 1-3 mg/l (ppm) for swimming pools. These tablets are slow release and long lasting and have the minimum effect on the pH of the water for a stabilised chlorine tablet.
These will be sent in multiples of smaller tubs, from 1Kg to 10Kg tubs.
Key Features
Its best to operate a free Chlorine Range of 3 – 5mg/l for hot tubs and 1-3mg/l for swimming pools. These stabilised chlorine tablets are ideal for regular dosing of your hot tub or swimming pool, to produce free active chlorine which kills bacteria and other potentially harmful organisms. They contain a high level of available chlorine and chlorine stabiliser.
Application Instructions
1. Maintain pH level within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6. If outside this range please use our PH plus or PH minus products to adjust for the best results.
2. Maintain free chlorine residuals for hot tubs between 3-5mg/l and for swimming pools between 1 – 3mg/l (ppm). Freshly filled hot tubs require an initial shock or start up dose of chlorine: 50mg/l (ppm) for 1 hour or 20mg/l (ppm) for 2 hours.
3. For floating dispenser: Fill the floating dispenser with tablets and adjust the aperture mechanism at the bottom of the dispenser to obtain the 3-5mg/l (ppm) desired range. Alternatively keep the dispenser aperture constant and vary the tablets inside to achieve 3-5mg/l (ppm). The dispenser should be removed from the hot tub whilst bathing.
4. For chlorine feeders: Fill the dispenser and follow feeder instruction manuals on flow regulation to maintain required chlorine levels.
5. For skimmer baskets: Fill the basket with sufficient tablets and monitor levels to maintain required chlorine levels.
6. It is recommended that you periodically (e.g. fortnightly or after heavy use) shock dose your pool to eliminate any excess contamination.
Note: If using in skimmer baskets we would suggest you run the pump often to prevent a build up of chlorine. Please ensure children to not have access to the skimmer as this could be dangerous.
Dose Rates (subject to water flow rate and temperature)
Medium hot tub 1,000 litre (220 Gallons) of water requires approx 1 tablet to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or 3 tablets to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)
Large hot tub 1,500 litre (330 Gallons) of water requires approx 2 tablets to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or 6 tablets to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)
Swimming pools add 1 tablet per 4,500 litres (1000 Gallons) of water and monitor levels.
