Are you looking to ensure your pool or spa water is safe and bacteria-free? Look no further than these highly effective chlorine granules. A popular choice among pool and spa owners, these granules offer a reliable solution for maintaining optimal water quality.
By applying these chlorine granules regularly, you can achieve the recommended free chlorine levels for your hot tub or swimming pool. For hot tubs, aim for 3-5 mg/l (ppm), while swimming pools should maintain 1-3 mg/l (ppm). The rapid dissolving nature of these granules makes them convenient to use, and their long-lasting effects provide continuous protection for your pool or spa.
One of the standout features of these granules is their minimal impact on the pH level of the water. This makes them an ideal choice for regular dosing, ensuring that your pool or spa water remains balanced while effectively combating bacteria and other harmful organisms.
When it comes to application, it’s important to follow the recommended guidelines. Firstly, maintain the pH level within the range of 7.2 ? 7.6 for optimal results. If the pH level falls outside this range, consider using pH plus or pH minus products to make the necessary adjustments.
For spas, the free chlorine residual should be kept between 3 ? 5 mg/l (ppm), while swimming pools require a range of 1 – 3 mg/l (ppm). During the initial start-up phase for newly filled spas, a shock or start-up dose of chlorine is recommended to ensure thorough sanitation.
When applying the granules, if the water temperature exceeds 20 degrees C, the product can be added directly to the pool or spa. In cases where the temperature is lower, it’s advisable to pre-dissolve the granules in water before adding them to the water body. Stirring the solution well ensures complete dissolution before adding it to the pool or spa while the pumps are running.
For maintenance purposes, repeat the dose application as needed to maintain the desired chlorine levels. Additionally, periodic shock dosing is recommended, especially after heavy spa usage, to eliminate any excess contamination and keep the water pristine.
When it comes to dosing rates, the guidelines provided based on the size of your hot tub or pool give you a clear idea of how much product to use to achieve the desired chlorine levels. Whether you have a medium hot tub or a large pool, these granules offer a flexible solution that can be tailored to your specific needs.
With these chlorine granules, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your pool or spa water is not only safe but also maintained at the optimal chlorine levels for a refreshing and hygienic swimming experience. Make these granules a part of your pool maintenance routine and enjoy crystal-clear water all season long.

Apply regularly to achieve the recommended free chlorine level of 3-5 mg/l (ppm) for hot tubs or 1-3 mg/l (ppm) for swimming pools. These granules are rapid dissolving, long lasting and have little effect on the pH of the water.? They are suitable for shock dosing small above ground pools.? You can find dosing amounts below.
Key Features

Application Instructions
1. Maintain pH level within the ideal range of 7.2 ? 7.6. If outside this range please use our PH plus or PH minus products to adjust for the best results.
2. Maintain free chlorine residuals for spas within the range 3 ? 5mg/l (ppm).? For swimming pools it should be 1 – 3mg/l (ppm). Freshly filled spas require an initial shock or start up dose of chlorine: 50mg/l (ppm) for 1 hour or 20mg/l (ppm) for 2 hours.
3. This product may be applied directly to pools or spas where temperatures exceed 20? degrees C. If below this temperature or in doubt it is recommended to pre-dissolve in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 10g of product per 0.2 gallons (1ltr) in water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Add the resulting solution to the spa or pool whilst the pumps are turned ?on?.
4. Repeat dose application if necessary to achieve the required levels.
5. It is recommended that you periodically (e.g. weekly or after heavy spa use) shock dose your spa to eliminate any excess contamination.
Dose Rates
Medium hot tub 1,000 litre (220 Gallons) of water requires 2g to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or 6g to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)
Large hot tub 1,500 litre (330 Gallons) of water requires 3g to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or 9g to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)
Small pool 40,000 litres of water requires 80g to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or 240g to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)
Medium pool 60,000 litres of water requires 120g to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or 360g to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)
Large pool 80,000 litres of water requires 160g to increase the chlorine level by 1mg/l (ppm) or 480g to increase chlorine level by 3mg/l(ppm)
