After searching the web for cheap stepladders that would answer my limited needs, I decided on these. They may be a bit steeper than stepladders Ive had previously and the treads may be a bit narrower, but the top platform offers plenty of space. Have already used a number of times on different surfaces and am pleased with the product. Seems that many stepladders now use straps rather than metal struts. Dont see how these could be easily replacedrepaired if damaged. However, there may be ways.
